Stronger Teams. Better Outcomes.
Ready to Lead, But Not Sure How?
Stronger Teams. Better Outcomes.
I partner with universities to coach academic and professional teams, building trust, communication, and execution through modular workshops and facilitated sessions.
Leadership doesn’t begin with a job title, it begins with mindset. I help universities support PhD candidates and postdocs in building the confidence, communication skills, and self-awareness they need to lead teams, projects, and themselves, within academia or beyond.

What your teams need to work better, together
What You Really Need Isn’t Just a Title — It’s Transformational Leadership
What your teams need to work better, together
We co-design practical coaching that turns siloed effort into shared goals, healthy dialogue, and reliable delivery - across faculties, labs, and professional services.
Being a great researcher doesn’t automatically translate into being an effective leader. I guide PhDs and postdocs to lead with self-awareness, influence, and resilience, skills that are essential in labs, institutions, and industry alike.

Shared Direction & Roles
Leadership That Feels Authentic
— clear priorities, decision rights, and responsibilities so projects keep moving.
— Help your researchers lead in a way that reflects who they are, not who they think they’re supposed to be.
Better Conversations, Less Friction
Skills That Go Beyond Research
— simple frameworks for feedback, conflict, and meetings that lead to decisions.
— From conflict resolution to strategic communication, coaching builds essential leadership skills that academia rarely teaches.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration
Confidence to Lead With Impact
— common language and processes so researchers and professional staff pull in the same direction.
— Support your researchers to speak up, step in, and handle complexity without losing clarity or confidence.
Sustainable Delivery & Wellbeing
Guidance From Someone Who’s Been There
— lightweight rhythms (planning, stand-ups, retros) that protect workload and maintain momentum.
— With years of experience coaching researchers into leadership roles, I offer practical insight grounded in both academia and industry.

Meet Your Coach, Dr. Tina Persson
I’ve helped hundreds of PhDs and professionals navigate career change with clarity and confidence. As a scientist-turned-career coach, I understand the weight of uncertainty, and how to move through it with purpose.
I have the pleasure to cooperate with Dr. Tina Persson over the past years at Karolinska Institutet. An invaluable trait of Tina´s coaching line that I have adopted is that the performance of an individual is inseparably coupled to their unique work environment, be it related to research, education or management. Therefore, development of academic leadership is a bidirectional process that aims to utilize most efficiently the competences of the available work force, while optimizing the responses to the challenges of the work environment. As a truly international coach, Tina embraces diversity, multi-disciplinarity and adaptability as major driving forces for new age leadership in an academia beyond borders.
